14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has finally revealed the Games with Gold lineup for April, confirming quite a few different titles that will be available for free during the next month for Xbox Live Gold subscribers, ranging from Child of Light on the Xbox One, to Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag or Gears of War: Judgment on Xbox 360.
The Games with Gold program has delighted millions of Xbox Live Gold subscribers from all over the world with lots of free titles for the Xbox 360, at first, and subsequently for the Xbox One. After sharing some solid experiences during the month of March, Microsoft now brings forth the very special April lineup.
In April, Xbox Live Gold members get twice the amount of free games
Next month, as a special celebration of the program and the Xbox Live community, Microsoft is offering twice the amount of free games on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. This means that two titles on the Xbox One and four on the 360 will go free in the next thirty days.
On the Xbox One, owners of the console with active gold subscribers can enjoy Pool Nation FX and Child of Light on the device through the month of April.
On the Xbox 360, things get a bit trickier. Between April 1 and April 15, Gold subscribers can get Gears of War: Judgment and Terraria for free. Between April 16 and 31, they'll be able to snag Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel for free.
Microsoft notes on the Xbox Wire that the Games with Gold program has been a huge success, as over 100 million games have been downloaded and, from them, over 5 billion Gamerscore points have been earned.
Expect the numbers to continue rising, as the program shows no signs of stopping and is getting more and more solid titles as time passes.
