It's that time of the week again, and the Xbox Live Arcade has received new items in the Games on Demand section. The first one up for sale is Call of Duty 3 but you have to wonder just who would demand this one. CoD 3 is the black sheep of the family that comes from a different mother. The game is the only one of the series that was developed by Treyarch and it had also better be the last, as more calls to arms are bound to be issued. All other Call of Duty games were developed by Infinity Ward, this including the
Modern Warfare title, which turned up to be the biggest one so far. Still, even before CoD 4: MW, the other two installments in the series proved to be very good games.

Call of Duty 3 is available via the Games on Demand service worldwide with just one exception: Japan. The price, depending on where you are, will vary but if you live in America it will set you back a hefty $30. That's a bit too much considering Modern Warfare 2 is on the way but it isn't a ripoff either, since the retail price is pretty much the same.

The second game follows the tradition GoD has been setting for itself as of late and is another Tom Clancy title. Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 was yet another good game from Ubisoft and combined the first-person tactical shooter with some nice role-playing elements. The player will gain experience from the various tasks he performs in the game and will advance in rank. Each new promotion will offer new unlockable items, like armor and different camouflage for it as well as an assortment of head gear. Weapons are divided in three categories – Assault, CQB or Close Quarters Battle, and Marksman – and new ones are unlocked as you gain levels in this particular takedown mode.

Tom Clancy Rainbow Six: Vegas will be available worldwide, this time without any exceptions. It will be priced at $30, just like Call of Duty 3, which is the price that is also offered by retailers such as Amazon or Best Buy, so there's no real special offer here.
