We've got a lot of
FIFA-related goodies for you, thanks to EA, that just announced tons of new details about FIFA 2008. The game will play at 60 frames per second, at least in its PS3 version, unlike the latest and boo-ed Madden title. Also, the latest FIFA title features lots of content, including 30 leagues, 575 teams and 15.000 players.
Things have also changed
in the usage of the processing power, as now the football player cam make 1000 decisions per second. Also, EA checked out the number of
FIFA 07 videos on YouTube and found it necessary to implement a video uploading tool in the latest game. We don't have many details about this feature, but we sure have a couple of top goals ready to be shot, caught on videos and uploaded.
The last of the game's announced features was the best: there will be a downloadable game mode that will allow 10 gamers to play matches at the same time online. That means that we'll see 10 PS3 consoles all lined up and ready for some footballing action. Each gamer will be able to control a member of his virtual team and the group of 10 will be able to either cooperate or compete.
My only wish is that EA would decrease Ronaldinho's attributes, as I'm always losing when playing against Barcelona with a co-worker of mine and all the goals are scored with the aid of "Ronnie". This may be a personal wish, but I really feel that the producers have exaggerated by implementing god-like players, who in real life have started playing bad. Stay tuned for some extra Games Convention news and hopefully we'll get to see a FIFA 2008 pretty soon, as it's the most awaited sports sim so far.
