Gaming enthusiasts are always looking for new gear that can improve their gaming experience and skills, which is why a series of companies waste no time in releasing new products that address the requirements of gamers worldwide. Such is the case of iBUYPOWER, which has just announced a partnership with online retailer
Newegg, providing users with a new high-performance computer system designed for gaming. Dubbed Gamer Supreme 928i, the new desktop rig is designed on the latest Intel X58 platform and is said to be targeted at the “recession-minded performance gamer.”
“By partnering with
Newegg we are able to offer our customers an outstanding system at an unbeatable value.” said Darren Su, vice president of iBUYPOWER. “It would be difficult to build a system as powerful as the Gamer Supreme 928i for anything close to $1,299, and when you factor in iBUYPOWER’s lifetime technical support you have an offering that cannot be matched.”
According to the specifications of the Gamer Supreme 928i, users will be able to take advantage of an Intel Core i7 920 processor, clocked at 2.66GHz, up to 24GB of DDR3 memory, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX285 1GB graphics card, 1TB SATA II hard drive, a DVD-RW optical drive, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, an 800W power supply and the PSI Silver ARMORX gaming case with blue color lighting. The entire system comes at a stating price tag of $1299, which is relatively low considering the high-performance components that have been integrated in the new iBUYPOWER gaming rig.
For the aforementioned price tag, users will get a system that is equipped with 6GB of DDR3 and also comes with an iBUYPOWER USB Deluxe keyboard and USB mouse. The system also includes a Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit OS and a 60-day trial of Microsoft's Office 2007.
