14 DAY TRIAL // Fans of Captain America will be thrilled to know Gameloft and Marvel have just announced they will be releasing a new game featuring the famous super hero.
The game is called Captain America: The Winter Soldier and will be launched on both iOS and Android platforms sometime in late March. It appears that Windows Phone users have been left out from the initial release once again.
The official game Captain America: The Winter Soldier is based on the movie with the same name, which is scheduled to premiere in Europe on March 26 and on April 4 in the United States.
According to Gameloft, the game will feature the “original blend of combat action and flexible tactical options for a complete Marvel experience that teases the upcoming movie.” This makes us believe Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be launched ahead of the movie.
Players will take the role of Captain America and lead an elite team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in battle against many Marvel villains. The game has been confirmed to feature some sort of multiplayer mode that will allow players to join clans and to compete for a higher position in leagues.
The background story is also inspired by the film and is co-written by Marvel in order to provide a more immersive narrative for the game.

Players can expect a truly involved Captain America experience, with many characters from both the movie and the comics,” said Karine Kaiser, VP Marketing & Licensing at Gameloft.
