French mobile game developer and publisher Gameloft has just announced its New Year’s sale that will include its entire catalog of games for the Android platform.

 

Although the company has yet to reveal exactly when the sale kicks off, rumor has it that Gameloft plans to start its promotional offer on December 29.

 

Android enthusiasts who are looking for bargains may want to follow Gameloft’s Facebook and/or Twitter official accounts, as the company confirmed it would notify its followers when the sale starts, via one of these channels.

Gameloft will offer all its Android games for only $0.99 (0.78 EUR), including its latest Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation, which is currently priced at $6.99 in the Android Market.

 

Touted the “biggest New Year's sale to have ever hit the Android Market,” the promotional offer will run through January 5, 2012, rumors claim.

 

Among the titles that will be available for only $0.99 beginning tomorrow December 29, one will be able to notice a few of Gameloft’s most popular Android games, including: Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD, NFL Pro 2012, Let's Golf! 3 HD, Assassin's Creed, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, N.O.V.A. 2 HD, Texas Hold'em Poker 2, Driver San Francisco and more.

 

Gameloft is trying to enter freemium game market with some of its upcoming titles, such as Dungeon Hunter 3. The French publisher has several free-to-play titles available in the Android Market, such as Brothers In Arms 2, UNO and Asphalt 5 HD. These titles are not part of the sale, as they can already be downloaded for free in the Android Market.

 

Other games that may be available at a discounted price starting tomorrow include: BackStab HD, Diamond Twister 2, Immortals, Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus, Order & Chaos Online and Cowboys & Aliens.
