Gameloft Releases “Dungeon Hunter 3” Trailer, the Game Goes Freemium

The highly-acclaimed “Dungeon Hunter” franchise is about to get bigger, as Gameloft has just released a trailer for the third installment of the series.

The company also confirmed that the Android version of “Dungeon Hunter 3” will be launched sometime in January 2012, while the iOS platform will get in on December 21.

However, fans of the series will probably be disappointed to hear that Gameloft decided to go freemium with “Dungeon Hunter 3,” despite the fact that this ‘genre’ already got a bad rap as a business model.

As seen in the trailer there are lots of new gear to try on, but most of it will probably be available for purchase.

Gameloft also announced that the hack’n’slash game will also receive a multiplayer update in early 2012, probably once the Android version comes out.
