14 DAY TRIAL // Nokia has just announced it has partnered with Gameloft to offer users of the Nokia X family of smartphones a few popular games for free. No less than three special edition games worth over €40 ($55) are now available for download to Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL for free.
The promotional offer runs through August 31, so make sure you download these games until the deadline, otherwise you may be charged for Gameloft’s titles.
Although the Nokia X lineup is far from being impressive when it comes to specs, Gameloft’s games that are now offered for free are exceptional when it comes to graphics and gameplay.
The first game confirmed by Nokia to be up for grabs for the X family users is Real Football 2014. Football fans will find that the game “is bound to blow their mind with its added gameplay details and heightened playing experience.”
Usually, Real Football 2013 is available for purchase for €3 ($4), but beginning July 1, Nokia X, X+ and XL owners can download it for free until the end of the promotion.
Next in line, Asphalt 8: Airborne does not need any further introduction. This is one of the best arcade racing games launched by Gameloft. Hopefully, it will work flawlessly on all three Nokia X smartphones.
But there’s more to it, as Nokia X, X+ and XL owners won’t be offered just the game, but also the Prime Car Pack, which will greatly help players to race cars and perform barrel rolls, as well as 360-degree jumps.
Last but not least, RPG fans will be pleased to learn that Nokia and Gameloft has them covered as well, as Dungeon Hunter 4 is now available for download for free.
Those who are ready to “taste blood in this latest chapter of this action role-playing saga” may give this one a try on their Nokia X phones. The good news is Gameloft also offers a free gift consisting of 2,700 free Baron’s Fortune Gems in order to ensure that players survive longer on the battlefield.
Owners of Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL smartphones will be able to download these special edition games from the Nokia Store, which can be found in the phone’s Menu.
You must simply select the “Exclusive Free Offer” category from the Collections section and tap next to the game that you wish to download. Follow the steps on-screen in order to quickly download and install the free titles.
Obviously, you can also use the Search function in the Nokia Store to find and download any or all three Gameloft games. Keep in mind that most of these games require a good chunk of storage space, so you might want to purchase a microSD memory card for additional internal memory.
