For the first time, Gameloft is allowing allies to jump inside the same vehicle and wreak havoc on the battlefield, as humanity finally returns to Earth after years of exile. Players will fight in 10 levels across the galaxy, “from a war-torn Earth to a frozen Volterite city.”
NOVA 3 is said to establish a new FPS benchmark for graphics and gameplay on iOS platforms. Some key elements ensuring NOVA will get some praise from reviewers include real-time shadow and lights, the particle system, ragdoll physics, and more.
“Four months have passed since Kal ruined the Volterites' plans by sabotaging their war factories, and stopping the extraction of the Judger Artifacts,” goes the plot. “However, following the assassination of President Folsom, the government surrendered the colonies to the Volterite Protectorate in order to prevent civil war between the increasingly pro-Volterite citizens.”
“Kal Wardin has been laying low since Folsom’s death, but now he has received a desperate plea from Yelena to come to Earth. Once again, the hero must rise to save mankind!”
NOVA 3 is designed for both iPhone and iPad and requires iOS 4.0 or later. The game is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and all iPad models. The game costs $6.99 / 5.49 EUR.
