Gameloft Launches Block Breaker Deluxe 2 for iPhone

After delighting iPhone owners with games like Asphalt 4 and Real Football (Soccer) 2009, Gameloft, one of the best-known mobile developers, has released Block Breaker Deluxe 2 for the iPhone and iPod touch. Priced at $4.99, the game is immediately available for download from the iTunes App Store.

Touted as the perfect choice for those in love with puzzle and arcade games such as Arkanoid, Breakout, Tetris, and Bejeweled, Block Breaker Deluxe 2 for iPhone boasts “the most intuitive, trendy, and technically accomplished take on the well-known arcade classic to date,” according to Gameloft's description of the game, up on the iTunes App Store.

Besides using the iPhone's accelerometer to offer some surprising re-arrangements of the blocks on-screen, Block Breaker Deluxe 2 also has players using the device's touch-screen capabilities to control the pad and catch falling bonus items, which can be good or bad, so be careful what you pick up. The game can be played by one, or two players (on the same device), while a level generator delivers a different stage every time the feature is enabled.
