Leading developer of digital and online games Gameloft has just announced the signing of a n agreement with Qualcomm for the delivery of an enhanced experience on some of the company's top games.

According to the company, they partnered with Qualcomm so as to optimize Gameloft’s premier HD mobile games for the chip maker's Snapdragon processors, including the MSM8x55 and dual-core MSM8x60.

Some of the Gameloft titles that were included in this agreement would be “SpiderMan Total Mayhem HD,” “Real Football 2011 HD,” “GT Racing: Motor Academy HD” and “Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus.”

The duo has already partnered for the offering of an enhanced experience fro various other games, including leveraging the Adreno GPU for games like “Assassin’s Creed Altair’s Chronicles.”

“We are pleased to be working closely with Gameloft to pre-optimize their impressive portfolio of mobile games for Snapdragon processors,” said Raj Talluri, vice president of product management for Qualcomm.

“The combination of Snapdragon’s dynamic Adreno GPU technology along with the game development expertise of Gameloft will bring some of the most exciting game franchises to tablets and smartphones this year.”

The new agreement would further strengthen the relationship between the duo, while ensuring the Snapdragon family of processors can benefit from optimized Gameloft premier games for Android devices.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon dual-core CPU processors pack two asynchronous CPU cores that will run at up to 1.5 GHz per core, embedded Adreno 220 GPU, and offer enhanced multimedia capabilities.

They also offer support for high Adobe Flash, hardware acceleration, video accelerators for full HD 1080p encode and decode, and more.
