French mobile games publisher and developer Gameloft has just announced its new title in the Spider-Man series, which is developed in collaboration with Marvel.

Dubbed Spider-Man: Unlimited, the game will be launched in September on all three major platforms, namely Android, iOS and Windows Phone.

Unfortunately, it’s unclear whether or not Gameloft will launch the game on all mobile platforms at the same time. Usually, Windows Phone users are the last ones to get a new title on their devices, but let’s hope that it won’t be the same this time.

There are little details about the game, but Gameloft did mention that Spider-Man: Unlimited would be available for free, but it would most likely feature micro-transactions.

It’s also worth mentioning that this is not the usual action arcade game that Spider-Man fans may have gotten used to, as Gameloft has decided to make this one an endless runner.

Here is the game’s short description that can be found on its official Facebook page: “Enjoy the unlimited power of swinging and running as Spider-Man in a chaotic Manhattan and battle the Formidable Sinister Six! Experience the Spider-Man comics come to life in a brand new episodic adventure, featuring content from over 50 years of Spider-Man Comics.”
