Gameloft Announces New Limited Period Sale, Games at £0.69 / $0.99

Mobile games developer Gameloft has just announced that, for a limited period of time, customers in the UK can benefit from a special offer that will bring them new games for only £0.69 a piece.

A wide range of games are now available for the said lowered price tag on mobile platforms that include Google's Android OS, as well as Apple's iOS.

The promotion was announced shortly after the company put in place a special deal for the back-to-school period, with various games available for only $0.99 on the aforementioned mobile platforms.

“For a portion of the population, it’s back to University time… which means fresher’s week, cheap drinks all-round, lecture halls… and of course, student loans! To ensure those freshly populated bank accounts don’t take an unnecessary hit we’re having a massive sale,” Gameloft notes.

“Summer holidays are now over and it’s time to get all the Back-to-School essentials: a few school supplies, a trendy school bag and some new apps to enjoy between classes,” the company also explains.

Of course, the deal will not last forever, and those who would like to take advantage of it should head over to the company's website as soon as possible for that.

Android users in the UK will be able to purchase games like BackStab, N.O.V.A. 2 – Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance and Asphalt 6: Adrenaline with the reduced price tags at the moment, all three available in the Google Android Market, the company announced.

As stated above, there are also a series of games discounted for iOS devices, namely the iPhone and the iPad. Mac users will also benefit from cheaper titles.

On the iPhone, users will enjoy cheaper games like: BackStab, Silent Ops, Fast Five the Movie: Official Game, N.O.V.A. 2 – Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance, Dungeon Hunter 2, NFL 2011, Splinter Cell Conviction, and Rayman 2: The Great Escape.

As for the iPad, the list of discounted games includes: BackStab, Silent Ops, Fast Five the Movie: Official Game, N.O.V.A. 2 – Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance, Dungeon Hunter 2, NFL 2011, and Splinter Cell Conviction.
