After Microsoft revealed the actual policies to regulate the trading-in and purchase of used games on Xbox One, large retailer GameStop has confirmed that it's excited about the next-gen console and that it's going to work with Microsoft to ensure a seamless transition from the used games system on the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One.

The Xbox One has a convoluted and ambiguous system for pre-owned games. These can be either gifted to a friend a single time, or traded in at participating retailers, who can then sell them at a certain tax, but only if the game's publisher desires such a thing.

GameStop, one of the largest retailers dealing with used games, is excited about the system, at least according to President Tony Bartel.

“We are excited about the immersive entertainment experience that the Xbox One offers, and the fact that the new console will support the unlimited trade-in and resell of pre-owned games, which is something our 30 million PowerUp Rewards members have told us they want," he told Forbes.

GameStop will continue to work with Microsoft and publishers, according to Bartel, to ensure a seamless transition between console generations.
