GameFly announces that it is giving away the first-person shooter BioShock for free to all those who are willing to sign up for the video game service.
It seems that even though we are talking about a digital product, a limited quantity of free downloads is available, although GameFly representatives were not willing to say exactly how many copies they were ready to give away.
The game
can be obtained in: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and United Kingdom.
All those who want to experience BioShock, the much lauded Ken Levine design, need to download and
install the GameFly client.
Gamers also need to provide credit card information in order to qualify for the free title, but the service will only charge them if they are ready to pay for a monthly subscription.
Irrational Games and 2K are working on BioShock: Infinite at the moment, which will be launched in early 2013.
