Games Workshop seems to be interested in re-launching some of its classic titles on the PC and on mobile gaming devices and the first to arrive will be Chainsaw Warrior, a classic single-player title that challenges players to save New York from an outpouring of monsters.

The game was first launched in 1987 and gamers will have to guide their cybernetically enhanced warrior in the face of overwhelming odds.

PCGamesN reports that the game description from developer Auroch Digital reads, "A rare and strange phenomena known as 'spatial warping' has resulted in a dimensional breach from our world into a nightmare space beyond, through which have poured legions of zombies and mutants."

Chainsaw Warrior does not yet have clear launch dates.

Games Workshop is also working with video game developers to launch more Warhammer 40,000 titles on the PC.
