There's always room for improvement, especially in a developing field such as mobile gaming. For this reason, key game publishers will gather in order to find the most efficient solutions for developing.

The workshop will include some of the most important mobile game
publishers from China and Japan. Problems of major importance have been set for debate during this gathering. Among them an overall view on N-Gage platform details has been included. This also features the development environment, tools and business ecosystem.

"We're excited to grow our relationships with publishers in China and Japan and give them the opportunity to become deeply familiar with the details of our N-Gage offering," says Gregg Sauter, director of games publishing, Nokia.

"The China and APAC regions are full of potential and extremely important to Nokia. The region is also home to a lot of mobile innovation and well established brands that have incredible potential in other parts of the world through the reach of this platform", Gregg Sauter further continued.

The purpose of this workshop is that of creating a new mobile gaming culture and considerably improving the concepts that the current industry brings. This will be done through a series of technical and business presentations followed by debates on what possibilities these might bring for the mobile gaming world. Moreover, this is meant to demonstrate how Nokia uses community, social networking and social media as part of their mobile gaming development.

Another subject put up for debate will be that regarding distribution models which bring insight on the ways that people can access, try and buy games for their handsets. By understanding this, mobile game producers will have a better perspective on what people expect from them and then work on the most efficient ways to bring these services to them.
