Nocturnal Entertainment Australia, a supplier of development tools for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) has announced the release of Catapult 1.42.
Catapult fast-tracks the development of games and software for the GBA, by providing all development tools in a single integrated package.
At Catapult's core there is a unique programming language designed around the hardware capabilities of the GBA. Catapult also includes an editor, emulator, debugger and extensive set of development
tools.
Catapult comes with a fully integrated (450+ page) users guide, 20 tutorials and 16 sample projects (with complete source). Sample GBA compatible ROMs are also included in each package.
This latest release introduces GBA multiplayer support, project management extensions, improvements to the script editor, additional resource compression formats, improved tools and much more.
Catapult is available for all Windows operating systems, with a Mac / OS-X version due for release next year.
The English release is available now, with Spanish, French and Italian releases due out in the coming weeks.
