Galaxy Technology, a graphics card manufacturer, has introduced its first enhanced series of products - Masterpiece, which carries two graphics processing units (GPUs) and will offer users, according to the manufacturer, extreme performance and exceptional quality of components, writes X-bit Labs.

Furthermore, the Masterpiece series will include advanced solutions 'to go' with its performances, and will have separate print-circuit boards, as it also uses higher quality capacitors and inductors compared to other already commercialized solutions.

"Galaxy is about to set up a brand new product line, which offers the card at a worth to buy price with excellent performance and best quality available! Masterpiece series are specially targeted products for the most demanding DIY end-users audience," a statement by the company reads.

Galaxy Masterpiece dual-7600 GT, the first 'masterpiece' of the series, is said to have a core made up of two GeForce 7600 GT graphics processors and 512MB of GDDR3 memory (256MB per chip), the GPU is clocked at 560MHz, and the memory operates at 1400MHz. And, as each GeForce 7600 GT chip includes 12 pixel processors, the users will benefit from 24 pixel processors in total with the two chips that work in multi-GPU SLI mode.

"Performance-demanding customers are likely to choose between the GeForce 7900 GTX, GeForce 7950 GX2 or Radeon X1900 XTX these days, while price-conscious buyers are more likely to look at the GeForce 7900 GT, GeForce 7600 GT or competing offerings, as such customers may not have a mainboard powered by the nForce chipsets with SLI support," further informs X-bit Labs.

The Galaxy Masterpiece dual-7600 GT will be available on the retail market in August at a suggested price of €250 ($320) in the European Union, cheaper than the GeForce 7600 GT graphics boards.
