South-Korean eletronics manufacturer Samsung launches a special device every year at the Millionaire Fair.

This year the company announced that its hot selling Android tablet Galaxy Tab now has a Luxury Edition sibling. The device is showcased at the annual Millionaire Fair held in Amsterdam.

Unlike the original tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab Luxury Edition is sold along with a leather case and a Bluetooth headset. The limited edition of the tablet will be available for purchase from December 15, 2010 to January 31, 2011 for EUR 749 (about $994).

Apparently, the luxurious edition of the Galaxy Tab has no other improvements in terms of tech specs, except the sales package which includes the two extra accessories mentioned earlier.

Samsung hopes to improve the device's sales even more, after it has announced that the original Galaxy Tab was sold in more than 1 million units worldwide until the beginning of December. The company hopes to sell another 1 million tablets by the end of 2010.

The tablet packs a 3-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, video recording capabilities (720x480@30fps), but also a 1.3-megpapixel secondary front-facing camera for video calls.

Galaxy Tab is powered by an ARM Cortex A8 1 GHz processor (PowerVR SGX540 graphics) and features full HD video playback capabilities (up to 7 hours) and support for Adobe Flash 10.1.

Other key features of the Android tablet include: Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, GPS with A-GPS support, proprietary USB 2.0, 512 MB RAM, 16GB internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB, 16Gb card included).

The 4000 mAh Li-Polymer battery is rated by the manufacturer for up to 28 hours talk time (25 hours and 30 minutes for 3G).

Currently Samsung Galaxy Tab is selling for prices ranging from $399.99 to $850, depending on the location and subscription, if any.
