Samsung has just pulled the veil off its budget offering, the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite last week, but it didn't mention any official pricing information.

Now the 7-inch slate has already been made available for pre-order in Russia both in black and white flavors. Customers can choose between the Wi-Fi model ($206 / €152) and the 3G one (which is a little more expensive at $294 / €217).

The pricing is a little bit higher than expected, as it was originally believed that the Samsung slate would ship for around $100 / €74, and the amount has doubled (even tripled with the 3G version).

The Galaxy Tab 4 Lite has a 7-inch WSVGA screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and draws power from a 1.2GHz dual-core processor combined with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The device features only a mediocre 2MP rear camera on board.

Furthermore, Samsung has packed microSD card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, BT 4.0, USB 2.0, GPS + GLONASS and a 3600 mAh battery said to be offering up to 8 hours of life.
