On April 11, enthusiasts around the world will finally get the chance to grab a brand-new Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone, as the device will hit shelves around the world, and those living in the United States are included here as well.

Wireless carriers in the country have already unveiled plans to add the new device to their offerings this Friday, and it seems that users interested in it can also enjoy a sweet deal coming from Target Mobile.

There is a trade-in program that users interested in grabbing a new Samsung Galaxy S5 handset can take advantage of, and it will enable them to get the new handset at only $99.99 (€73), with the signing of a two-year contract agreement.

The phone will normally cost $199.99 (€146), but bringing an older device in will provide customers with a $100 price cut, the retailer notes.

In order to enjoy the promotion, users will need to come with an eligible device, Target notes. A list of handsets that are accepted as part of the deal is available on this page on retailer’s website.

The best part, however, is the fact that the price cut will apply to the Galaxy S5 bought on the networks of three of the largest wireless carriers in the United States, including AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon.

The promotion will kick off on April 11 and will be good only with functional smartphones and handsets that are included in the aforementioned list on Target’s website.

In case you are interested in getting the handset through this retailer, you should also know that it has the device on pre-order now, and that reservations for it can be made until April 10.

As droid-life notes, the trade-in offer will be available only until April 26, which means that users will need to hurry up to benefit from it. Moreover, it appears that Galaxy S5 will be available only in limited quantities, yet another reason to make up your mind fast.

Users will be able to register for the deal both in Target Mobile stores and online on the aforementioned webpage. Some of the accepted devices can be traded in only through the retailer’s website, it seems.

Galaxy S5, the latest flagship Android-based handset from the South Korean vendor, arrives on shelves with a 5.1-inch full HD screen, a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 16-megapixel camera on the back, capable of 4K video recording. The phone runs under Android 4.4 KitKat.
