Galaxy S4 Active, the dust and waterproof smartphone that South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung made official yesterday, is now rumored to arrive on shelves in the Netherlands with a price tag of €649 ($850) attached.

No official confirmation on the matter has emerged so far, but, provided that the report from telecompaper will pan out, the new smartphone will become one of the most expensive Androids out there, as UnwiredView notes.

Featuring a large 5-inch touchscreen, the smartphone arrives on shelves as a rugged flavor of the Galaxy S4, featuring only minor hardware changes.

It will sport the same 1.9GHz processor as the already available smartphone, along with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, and the usual set of connectivity options, but will pack only an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, still paired with a 1.9MP front camera for video calling.
