Galaxy S Relay 4G, the Samsung smartphone that will land on shelves at T-Mobile in the coming weeks, has been confirmed to pack a Snapdragon S4 processor inside.

Initially said to be powered by such a chip, the handset was then said to feature a Snapdragon S3 CPU inside, something confirmed by its retail boxes as well.

However, after Samsung posted on its website that the phone comes with a MSM8260A chip, T-Mobile also issued an official statement on the matter, confirming to TmoNews that Galaxy S Relay 4G will indeed sport an S4 processor from Qualcomm.

“The Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G will have a 1.5-GHz Dual-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. We’re making updates to the Galaxy S Relay 4G boxes in real time, but all devices will have the S4 processor,” the wireless carrier reportedly stated.
