South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung confirmed that its Galaxy S III users in Canada would receive the promotional 50GB of free Dropbox storage space that others also benefit from.

Unlike in the United States, where wireless carriers AT&T and Verizon opted out of this offer, all Canadian carriers will allow their users to take advantage of it.

Samsung themselves announced that, in addition to the usual 2GB of storage that Dropbox offers to all of its users, there would be an additional free 48GB available for Galaxy S III users for two years, MobileSyrup reports:

New GS III users will receive a basic 2GB of free space with Dropbox (It is permanent). When they create their own Dropbox account or link their existing account to Samsung Apps, the user will receive 48GB more space through a promotional offer, for a total of 50GB. This is available for 2yrs.
