At the beginning of this month, South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has launched its newest flagship Android-based handset, the Galaxy S III, which is set to land on shelves in Europe in late May.

The handset vendor has provided users with a wide range of details on what the smartphone has to offer to them in terms of hardware and software, but it hasn’t offered info on what working with the device involves.

Today, that mystery is solved, courtesy of Galaxy S III’s user manual, which is available for download directly from Samsung’s support website.

Just as you’d expect from a user guide, the document is meant to walk users through the features and options that this smartphone has to offer to them.

Additionally, it will offer details on the various elements of the phone’s outer case, such as the placing of the volume and home keys, the multifunction jack, proximity and light sensors, front and back cameras, flash, antennas, lock/power key, and the like.

Specific details on what each of these was designed to do are included in the manual as well, along with instructions on how to place the battery, SIM card or microSD inside it, and how to bring the phone online.

Additionally, the guide will provide users with info on the various actions and gestures that they can perform to operate the device.

Sporting model number GT-I9300, the new Galaxy S III smartphone should arrive on shelves in late May with Google’s Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system packed inside.

The smartphone will be released in two color versions, namely Blue and White, and will sport three different internal storage configurations: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

Those who missed our previous posts on this device and would like to learn more on the phone’s hardware and software specs should head to this page. The Galaxy S III user manual is available on this Samsung support page.
