Unveiled earlier this week for the United States, Samsung’s Android flagship Galaxy S III has already become available for pre-order on the airwaves of large wireless carriers in the country.

Best Buy has announced the immediate availability of reservations for the device for AT&T, Sprint and Verizon through its Best Buy big box locations and the 334 Best Buy Mobile standalone stores around the country.

The smartphone is up for pre-order directly through these carriers as well, and those interested in purchasing it can head over to their respective websites to learn more on the matter.

Running under Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, the new mobile phone comes with a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen, a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU, 2GB of internal memory, and an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back.
