Samsung’s Galaxy S III is one of the most popular smartphones on the market today, courtesy of its powerful specs and appealing design, but it seems that it can be turned into an even more impressive handset.

Amosu Couture took the device and packed it with 500 Swarovski crystals along the edge, in an attempt to make it look even better than before.

They also placed 16 Swarovski crystals on the home key of the new Samsung Galaxy S III Swarovski Edition, further increasing the value of the device.

The phone was announced with a price tag of £2099 (around $3400/€2650), with a free Amosu Couture Calf leather case included in the package (worth around £200 on its own).

Those who would like to grab the new device can also choose to pay a little extra and have their name or logo printed on the back plate.

“The model is available in the standard colours, both White and Blue but the Swarovski Crystallized Elements comes in white,” Amosu Couture notes on its website.

“To add to the luxurious experience with Amosu Couture, when you purchase a Amosu Couture Samsung Swarovski Galaxy S3 you also get a free Amosu Couture Calf leather case (worth £200) in any colour of your choice. This will allow you to keep your precious luxurious gadget safe.”

However, while the exterior of the handset has been reshaped, the internal circuitry remains unchanged from the original version.

This means that users will get the same quad-core CPU-based phone that sports a 4.8-inch screen and an 8-megapixel camera on the back.

With Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, the usual set of sensors and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 64GB of additional storage, it should provide the smartphone with capabilities people are certainly looking for inside it.

Of course, those who will actually buy the Samsung Galaxy S III Swarovski Edition won’t do it for the performance capabilities, but for the looks. You can learn more on the offer on Amosu Couture’s website.
