Australian mobile phone users will soon be able to put their hands on the latest flagship device from Samsung, the Android-powered Galaxy S III.

The handset has been long said to be launching in Australia as soon as tomorrow and the final preparations for the event are being made now.

Wireless carrier Vodafone is reportedly the first to make the new handset available for its users, with stock already arriving in stores.

Vodafone has announced plans for holding a Galaxy S III launch event tomorrow, but it hasn’t unveiled specific details on the handset’s availability as of yet.

However, a leaked document that emerged over at Ausdroid suggests that the carrier is set to make the phone available tomorrow on its $59 plan over 24 months (with 1.5GB of data included).

With a minimum expected cost of $1,536 over two years, the deal seems a great one, especially for the latest quad-core smartphone out there.

As stated above, Vodafone’s stores are reportedly receiving shipments of Galaxy S III at the moment, just in time for tomorrow’s launch.

Optus is another wireless carrier in Australia set to add the new device to its offering, and it might start selling it at the same time as Vodafone.

The operator is rumored to receive shipments of Samsung’s flagship device tomorrow morning outside business hours, which does not usually happen.

This kind of shipments was seen only for the launch of the new iPhone, which suggests that the release of Galaxy S III at Optus is imminent.

Unfortunately, no specific details on the price tag of this mobile phone at Optus have emerged, though we should expect it to be in line with Vodafone’s.

Of course, there’s only one day left until all the necessary info is made official, so stay tuned to learn more on Galaxy S III’s arrival in Australia.
