South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung Electronics has started delivering the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S II devices on the network of wireless carrier T-Mobile in the United States.
The new platform release is available for users both over-the-air and via the Samsung Kies desktop software, and brings along a nice range of enhancements to users.
Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean will provide users with improved performance capabilities on their handsets, as well as with a new UI, the TouchWiz Nature UX, and better camera capabilities.
Additionally, it packs Samsung’s S Cloud services, Google Now, enhanced Notifications, two home screen modes, new widgets, and features such as Direct Call, Smart Stay, and Pop-up Play.
According to SamMobile, the new firmware will land on devices as PDA version T989UVMC6, featuring CSC T989TMBMC6.
