Galaxy S II LTE Now Only $19 at Future Shop, Cheaper at Rogers as Well

Canadian mobile phone carrier Rogers made available for purchase on its airwaves the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE smartphone several weeks ago, but the handset is already much cheaper today, whether purchased via the operator or via partner retailers.

For example, Rogers lists the mobile phone on its website with a price tag of $149.99 (112 Euros) when purchase with the signing of a three year contract agreement. Free of contract, the handset goes for $649.99 (485 Euros).

However, those users who would like to make the purchase via Best Buy will have to get only $69.99 (52 Euros) out of their pockets when committing to a three-year term.

If they make the purchase via Future Shop, they will benefit from an even better deal, since the retailer has the Android handset available for only $19.99 (15 Euros) on contract (the offer is available in store-only).

The mobile phone is one of the most appealing devices that arrived on shelves this year with Google’s Android operating system on board.

The smartphone sports a large 4.5-inch touchscreen display, along with a fast 1.5GHz dual-core application processor inside, and support for Rogers’ 4G LTE network, which translates into fast download and upload speeds.

The specs list of Galaxy S II LTE also includes an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for full HD video recording, as well as a front camera for video calling, 16GB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.
