mobile phone carrier T-Mobile officially announced plans to make the recently introduced Samsung Galaxy S 4G smartphone available for purchase on its airwaves starting with February 23rd.

The new device should offer a great mobile experience to all users out there, courtesy of a series of unparalleled entertainment capabilities that the wireless carrier packed it with, such as mobile HD TV through T-Mobile TV, or the ACADEMY AWARD Nominated film INCEPTION.

Moreover, the new mobile phone would arrive at the wireless operator with T-Mobile Video Chat powered by Qik functionality, which should prove a great option on the carrier's 4G network.

"The Galaxy S 4G is T-Mobile's first smartphone capable of delivering theoretical peak download speeds of up to 21 Mbps and will become the fastest smartphone running on America's Largest 4G Network on February 23," the wireless carrier announced.

According to T-Mobile, the new smartphone should be put on sale on its shelves with a price tag of $149.99 attached to it on a qualifying monthly plan with Unlimited Web (two-year service agreement and instant and mail-in-rebates included).

The new mobile phone sports a 4-inch Super AMOLED touch screen display, a fast application processor, and all of the capabilities that users would expect from a high-end Android smartphone.

The handset will also arrive at national retailers including Best Buy, Costco, RadioShack, Sam's Club, Target Mobile locations and Walmart, as well as at select third-party dealers.
