A 7mm (0.27-inches) upgrade option for notebook buyers

Galaxy is best known to us for the Nvidia graphics cards it produces, but the company has recently also entered into the SSD market and its now readying its second such drive, dubbed the Razor.

Just like its name implies, the Razor was designed to be thinner than the rest of its 2.5-inch competitors, so it ended up being installed inside a case that is just 7mm (0.27-inches) thick.

Despite its small dimensions, the Razor can still reach 240GB in capacity, which should definitely be enough for many ultra-thin notebook users.

Sadly, little else is known at this time about Galaxy’s compact SSD, although a marking on its case clearly states it’s limited at supporting SATA 3Gbps speeds.

Its launch date wasn't revealed by Expreview, nor was its price, but this is definitely one interesting upgrade option for ultra-thin notebook buyers.
