14 DAY TRIAL // Australian wireless carrier Telstra is gearing up for the release of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for its Samsung Galaxy Note users.
Currently in testing at the operator, the new software is expected to become available for download starting with August 27th, the company notes in a blog post.
However, this is not an official release date for the update, and the carrier might push it back, but it should not be too long before an official announcement on the matter is made.
Also on August 27th, Telstra is expected to begin the rollout of PR 1.3 update for the MeeGo-based Nokia N9 smartphone on its network.
Both firmware updates are expected to be approved for deployment as soon as next week, and specific info on their arrival should be unveiled at that time.
