Wireless carrier AT&T is gearing up for the release of a highly appealing new Android handset on its airwaves, none other than the Galaxy Note smartphone that Samsung made official in early September at the IFA show in Berlin.

Featuring model number GT-N7000B, the Galaxy Note was spotted at the FCC with support for AT&T’s network (850 / 1900MHz bands), which suggests that it might not be too long before things become official.

Since the model number for the 5.3-inch device was modified, it remains to be seen what exactly the addition of ‘B’ in the mix would be all about. According to Engadget, it might point at the availability of a black flavor of the device.

One way or the other, it is clear that Galaxy Note will be released at AT&T with some modifications, so keep an eye on this space to learn more on what these might be.
