One of the Android devices that Samsung is expected to make official this year is the Galaxy Note III, the next large device in the company’s already popular Galaxy Note series of smartphones, supposedly set to arrive on the market with a 6-inch touchscreen.

No official announcement on the handset has been made as of now, but we’ve heard plenty of rumors on it, with the latest of them suggesting that Samsung might include Optical Image Stabilization capabilities inside the device.

The phone is expected to pack a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back, one that should include a series of other enhancements in addition to OIS, such as optical zoom, a recent post on ET News reads.

However, it seems that some of these improvements might impact the thickness of the smartphone, and that Samsung might drop them.
