Galaxy Note II Arrives in Some Markets Without Split-Screen Multitasking

One of the great features that Samsung has been touting for its Galaxy Note II smartphone was its multi-tasking capability, though it appears that it was not packed inside all handsets out there.

The feature, which was recently touted by the company for the South Korean flavor of Galaxy Note II, is reportedly missing from the European versions of the device.

Users who have already grabbed the handset say that they cannot take advantage of this feature, while others claim that Samsung might release it exclusively to select markets.

Apparently, this might have something to do with the firmware packed inside the phone, as earlier versions of the software do not have the feature enabled.

With the multi-tasking capability, users can split the phone’s screen and have two applications running in the foreground at the same time, as can be seen in the video above.
