On Monday, wireless carrier AT&T officially confirmed plans to make the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet PC available for its customers starting with June 21.

The new Android device will become available priced at $399.99 (€299), with the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier.

However, the company has a special offer available for its users, enabling them to grab the slate at only $199.99 (€150) if they also purchase a Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, or Samsung Galaxy Note II smartphone.

On the wireless carrier’s network, the tablet PC will take advantage of 4G LTE connectivity, while capable of offering fast performance capabilities courtesy of its 1.6GHz quad-core processor.

The specifications list of the device also includes an 8-inch HD touchscreen display, as well as a 4600 mAh battery for longer usage times.

“The Galaxy Note 8.0 has several new work-friendly features including SAFE (Samsung for Enterprise) technology, which helps to ensure a secure work environment whether you’re at the office, on the road, or at home,” AT&T notes in a blog post.

“Polaris Office makes it easier to view, create and edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations right on their tablet. Air View allows users to preview emails, calendar events, photos and videos just by hovering over the screen with the S Pen.”

The slate comes with other features as well, including the search and recommendation service WatchON, as well as a Reading Mode to enable users to enjoy comfortable reading on its large screen.

“Available for a limited time, customers also receive 50GB of free storage with AT&T Locker (using the latest version of the app users can upgrade to the free 50GB by selecting the Account tab and My Plan), making it easy to store videos, pictures, and files and access them from multiple devices,” AT&T notes.
