Following the official launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 at the IFA 2014 trade show in Berlin last week, various wireless carriers around the world have started to confirm plans to add the new device to their offerings, including some in Canada it seems.

According to a recent post on MobileSyrup, operators such as ELUS, Koodo, Rogers, SaskTel, Bell and Videotron have all revealed plans to release the phone on their networks.

Moreover, the smartphone is expected to arrive in this country sometime in early October, though no specific info on its availability date has been provided as of now.

Last week, Samsung confirmed that the latest member of its Galaxy Note series of phones would be released worldwide sometime before the end of this year, and it appears that October might prove to be the lucky timeframe for enthusiasts.

For those out of the loop, we should note that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 arrives on shelves with a 5.7-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a Quad HD resolution, and that it is powered by a 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor.

In addition to that, the mobile phone sports 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, a 16-megapixel camera on the back, with OIS and 4K video recording, and a 3.7MP front camera for video calling. The handset runs under Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
