Those who doubted that Samsung was working on the next handset in its Galaxy Note series, and that this device might arrive on shelves under the name of Galaxy Note 4, should reconsider all that now, as the phone has made an appearance on the SideSync compatibility list.

The handset vendor has released an updated version of the SideSync application, so as to make it available for all Windows computers out there, and has also updated the list of devices that are supported in the software.

Galaxy Note 4 has been added to the list, planetegalaxy discovered, which can be seen as a confirmation of the fact that the mobile phone will arrive on shelves under the aforementioned name.

Of course, as SamMobile notes, there is also the possibility that the phone has been listed there in error. What’s interesting to note, however, is the fact that Galaxy S5 is the only other smartphone listed there, in addition to the Galaxy Note 4.

Chances are that this is more than a simple slip, and that Samsung is trying to build anticipation for the upcoming large phone.

With Galaxy S5 made official this year a few months earlier than initially expected, it would not come as a surprise if Galaxy Note 4 suffered a similar fate, rumor has it. Stay tuned to learn more on the matter.
