It appears that Samsung has indeed kicked off the global rollout of the Android 4.4.2 update for the owners of Galaxy Note 3 devices out there, as those living in the company’s homeland market, Korea, are also getting a taste of it.

The info comes from SamMobile, which notes that users can now download and install the software over-the-air, via Samsung Kies, and via ODIN.

In addition to South Korea, the new platform release is also available for download in some countries in Europe as well as in India.

Unfortunately, the mobile phone maker hasn’t provided an official announcement on the availability of the platform, though we suspect that it will make such a move in the not too distant future.

In the meantime, users in Korea, India, Russia, and some other countries can now check on their devices to see whether the upgrade has arrived.
