Galaxy Note 3 Neo, one of the smartphones that South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has been long rumored to plan on bringing to the market in the near future, won’t be released in the UK, the company is said to have confirmed.

The handset, expected to be announced as a mid-range variant of the Galaxy Note 3, should sport a 5.5-inch 720p display at launch, along with a 1.3GHz processor and 2GB of RAM.

Unfortunately, users in the UK hoping to be able to grab the device will be disappointed to learn that Samsung UK has confirmed to Android Central that the phone will not reach their country.

“Samsung UK can confirm that the Note 3 Neo will not be coming to the UK market,” the company said.

However, no specific info on when or where the device will be launched has been provided as of now (though Belgium appears certain to receive it).
