South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has yet to confirm plans on launching a Galaxy Note III smartphone before the end of this year, and enthusiasts are already eagerly waiting for the announcement to be made, it seems.

Galaxy Note III is expected to arrive on shelves as a high-end device, the same as its predecessors did, and the new concept phone coming from uva7 dance fits this pattern as well.

Dubbed Galaxy Note 3, their concept smartphone packs a 5.9-inch touchscreen display, a Super AMOLED panel that can deliver a full HD resolution, and runs under the next flavor of Google’s Android operating system, namely Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie.

Furthermore, the handset sports an 8-core processor inside, which includes a quad-core 2GHz Cortex A15 CPU and a quad-core 1.4GHz Cortex A7 CPU, paired with 3GB of RAM, Concept-Phones explains.

This Galaxy Note 3 concept device also sports 128GB of internal memory, a microSDXC card slot for expansion purposes, and a 16-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

Capable of recording videos in full HD resolution, the handset also sports a Li-Ion 3600 mAh battery, while measuring only 7.9 mm in thickness.

The specs list of the concept device appear close to what Samsung might include in the actual smartphone later this year, though it remains to be seen what exactly the South Korean phone maker will have in store for us.

It should also be noted that this Galaxy Note 3 concept sports metallic edges, although its back plate is made out of plastic, and that it comes with an S Pen, the same as other devices in the series did.

The overall outer design of the smartphone resembles that of Galaxy S4, though it would certainly look closer to the iPhone when seen from the side. The new Nature UX in Samsung’s latest flagship model is also present on the concept phone’s screen.
