Today Samsung was busy launching the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear in India. But executive Vineet Taneja teased the audience a little bit, by mentioning another device – the Galaxy Note 10.1.

The slate, going by its full name of the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), will be unveiled sometime in October just in India. It will probably become available featuring 3G and Wi-Fi capabilities.

SammyHub explains that other details regarding price tag or exact release schedule have not given, but as Taneja indicated the upcoming month for the tablet's announcement, we tend to believe more details will again pop up quite soon.

The tablet comes sporting a bunch of pretty impressive specs, the most worthy of nomination being the super clear LCD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Note 10.1 bundles a 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos processor with 3GB of RAM. All the other expected utilities are provided like GPS, microSD card, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and a powerful battery.

The slate runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and offers updated versions of S Pen and Note 3. It's definitely something to watch out for.
