Mobile phone users in Japan will soon be able to take advantage of the capabilities of the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-powered Galaxy Nexus smartphone, as wireless carrier NTT DOCOMO confirmed its availability for December 2nd.

The new mobile phone will be released via all DOCOMO shops, the carrier announced. Users can already have a look at the device on the special web page the operator put in place for them.

It also features a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, along with a front camera for video calling, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth capabilities and more, while being powered by a 1,750mAh battery.
