They might all be only software related, easy fixable

Galaxy Nexus, the latest Google phone out there, already managed to break a few hearts, as it did come to the market with a series of issues affecting the experience users receive from it.

Some of these are related to the handset’s screen, while others are said to be affecting the data and voice connectivity on Galaxy Nexus.

The aforementioned screen issues seem to appear only at times when the device is in landscape more.

What it is all about is simple: the phone cannot maintain multitouch at some times, and games that have been designed with this capability in mind are not playable.

The bug is repeatable, but appears to be software related, since turning the screen off and on is a quick workaround for it. However, the problem will appear again when another game is launched.

Have a look at how the issue manifests itself in the video embedded at the bottom of this article.

As if that was not enough, the handset is also said to experience some issues with the data connectivity, and sometime with the voice capabilities.

The guys over at Android Police report that many of their users have been complaining about such problems with their devices, but that there is no specific explanation for it.

Of course, this is not the first handset that has been plagued with connectivity issues, though it comes as a disappointment that a Google phone experiences them.

The Galaxy Nexus on Verizon’s network was hit with these problems, it seems, and more than a few users are reporting similar situations.

The issues affect the 3G data capabilities of the device as well, which is not encouraging at all. Most probably, this is also the reason for which Verizon and Google delayed the release for so long.

For the time being, users can only sit tight and wait for Verizon and Google to make a step in the direction of resolving this, so stay tuned for additional info on the matter.
