Galaxy Nexus is a great device, with its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform on board and with support for Verizon’s LTE network.

However, it tends to drain the battery fast. Thus, the wireless carrier made an Extended Battery with Cover available for its customers. Priced at $49.99 in the first place, the battery has seen a 50 percent price cut and dropped to $24.99.

The extended battery sold out fast, but Verizon has new stock available. Moreover, online purchasers will be able to acquire it at the same price tag as before. You’ll find it on the carrier’s website.

“Carry an extended battery for your Galaxy Nexus by Samsung when your charger is not available. This battery is a 2100 mAh with NFC. Battery times vary based upon personal use and system transition. Extended battery is packaged with an extended battery cover,” Verizon explains.
