The one-year old Samsung Galaxy Nexus is getting cheaper and cheaper, a clear sign that new devices in the Nexus lineup are being prepared for release.

Currently, the smartphone is available for purchase through Daily Steals for only $319.99 (€246), contract-free and unlocked, yet the deal is set to last for only 16 more hours at the time of this story.

Those of you who would like to take advantage of it should head over to this page and grab the GSM 16GB flavor of the mobile phone.

The specifications list of the device are the same since its official launch last year, including the 4.65” HD super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of internal memory, a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a front camera for making video calls.

At the moment, Galaxy Nexus runs under Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, yet it should be among the first to receive an update to the next Android release when it arrives.
