Owners of a Galaxy Nexus smartphone in the UK have had the opportunity to pre-order official accessories for their devices ever since early December, and they continue to do so.

However, it appears that these products won’t go on sale until sometime next year, at least this is what the latest reports on the matter suggest.

According to a recent article on Pocket-lint, the official accessories for the Galaxy Nexus will not make it in users’ hands in time for Christmas, but they should be delivered in early 2012.

In the meantime, however, those who would like to learn some more info on what these accessories for the new Google phone are all about should have a look at the videos embedded at the bottom of this article.

You will see there what the Samsung Desk Stand for the handset is all about, or what the HDMI portrait dock can be used for.

Moreover, you will also be able to learn more on the vehicle dock that Samsung released for the new Galaxy Nexus, as well as at the phone’s holder and battery charger.

As stated above, all these have been already available on pre-order in the UK for the past several weeks, and can all be seen over at retailer mobilefun.co.uk.

The HDMI portrait dock can be reserved for £49.99 (about 80 USD or 60 Euros), the same as the Vehicle Dock and the Desk Stand, while the Holder and Battery Charger will go for only £14.99 (23 USD or 17 EUR).

All these, along with some other accessories for the device, can be seen on mobilefun.co.uk’s website today.

The Galaxy Nexus itself, the first smartphone in the world to run under Google’s new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, is available for purchase via the online retailer, featuring a price tag of £514.99 contract free (with VAT included).
