It really seems that the people over at Sceptre are doing their best in order to promote their products and make their presence felt on the US market, since they've released yet another addition to the company's Galaxy line of LED HDTVs, namely a 24-inch model called E246BV-FHD. This new addition to Sceptre’s Galaxy Series line of LED HDTVs, which already features 19”, 23”, 32” and 42” models, also doubles as a monitor, offering in the same time a sleek black finish.

The HDTV is really ultra-slim, since it measures just .69” at its thinnest point and 1.8” at its thickest, much smaller than comparable LCDs.

Moreover, the Full HD (1080p) display delivers a 5 ms response time, 23.6-inch active screen size, 16:9 aspect ratio and a fairly good brightness level, of around 300 cd/m2.

It's also interesting to mention that the company also offers an Equalizer setting for users to adjust and control the tone/volume of the audio, creating a more immersive sound experience.

And since we're on the topic of audio, we'll point out that the HDTV from Sceptre comes equipped with 2 stereo speakers, each capable of outputting a modest, yet quite sufficient 3 watts of power.

Sceptre mentions the fact that their Galaxy HDTV is Energy Star 3.0 compliant, saving power by up to 44 percent and also features dual HDMI ports and USB port for expanded functionality so users can listen to MP3 files, view photos and enjoy an array of electronic peripherals quickly and conveniently (the media playback function enabled via the USB port is particularly interesting).

These Galaxy Series 24” LED HDTVs are available in black at NewEgg, Amazon, Target, Sears and Kmart (yeah, just US stores) for just $399 MSRP, which is a very attractive price point, taking into account the large number of features this LED TV/PC monitor combo has in store.
